Exterminate. Delete. Regenerate.

To most people, Doctor Who is a weird British show that thinks its sci-fi. DW is hard to describe without someone watching the series. Before I watched it, I thought it was the dumbest show ever at least compared to anything Sherlock Holmes. It’s really hard not to get addicted to the series and all the quotes or additional characters that come and go. Between the Daleks, Cybermen, and the bittersweet regenerations, DW makes one’s emotions go on a roller coaster with the brilliant twists and turns of the story arcs. Over the course of 13 12 regenerations, the Doctor is accompanied by multitudes of companions who in a way keep him human while adjusting to his weird alien ways. In the later regenerations, he has a sonic screwdriver which does all sorts of things to practically everything…except for wood.

If you haven’t seen the show yet, start with the 2005 one. The really old one wouldn’t be anywhere as entertaining. In the spirit of Doctor Who, the best way to approach the series is…”Run!”
